Changes to my study programme

When I was in high school I wanted to study Dentistry, and actually when I was at the university in 2015 I had the chance of taking courses in the Faculty of Dentistry, but some things happened and I could not get transferred to that course program. So, eventually I started studying Architecture in this university and everything has been fine. However, I compare this faculty with the other one and there are some things that I would change if I had the chance. First, I would improve the faculty facilities; my first winter in this faculty was this year and I suffered horribly because of the cold wind that usually got into the classrooms. Because of that, I got a cold 6 times! it is awful to be working for workshop in such conditions. In addition to that, I would replace the tables for new ones because it is hard to draw, paint or write over those tables. They are quite damaged because the students are not careful enough and cut things over them without protecting their surfaces. Second, I would fix the hours we spend in classes doing nothing because sometimes (almost all the time) teachers prefer us working at home and that is not a good thing. I mean, why do we have classes if we won't work there? I'm not saying this happens throughout the courses, but it is very common, and I think that is not healthy because if I work at home I am not able to take enough rest afterwards, specially if I have to work for workshop (sometimes I don't sleep the whole night at all). Finally, I would change some teachers; I know it is hard to keep 30 people paying attention at the same time while you are explaining something that probably no one actually care about, and it must be even harder to achieve that if the conditions for doing the class are not the best, but that does not excuse the bad attitude that some of the teachers genuinely have. Working with people is difficult sometimes, but if someone is not happy doing his job under certain conditions, it is not the students' fault, or anyone else.
